After Your Surgery
We recommend that out-of-town patients stay in the Del Mar area for 8 to 10 days following surgery, depending on the procedure performed. This allows Dr. Balikian to closely monitor your healing and ensure you’re recovering comfortably and safely before returning home.
Bespoke Post-Operative Support
For patients traveling alone or seeking added peace of mind, we offer access to a private recovery attendant through our trusted partner. This experienced professional provides one-on-one support during the first night after surgery, assisting with incision care, medications, and any post-operative needs that may arise, ensuring comfort and confidence during the most critical window of healing.
Once cleared by Dr. Balikian, you’ll be free to return home. Follow-up appointments can be conducted virtually to keep your recovery on track, wherever you are.
